Insert Path simplifies the process of inserting a file path into the active document. The path of any file accessible from your PC can be inserted.
Access
After placing your text caret at an insertion point, select 'Insert Path' from VAssistX | Tools (Alt+X, T, P).
Settings
Upon execution of Insert Path, a settings dialog opens, followed immediately by an open-file dialog. Use the open-file dialog to navigate to the file whose path is to be inserted.
After selecting a file, use the settings dialog to specify the type of path to be inserted.
If the inserted path is to be relative, specify whether the path should be relative to the file being edited, its project, or its solution.
File Viewer
If Source Links and its built-in File Viewer plugin are enabled, a preview of the contents of a commented file path appears in a tooltip when you hover over the path.
